Hey, I get that. We can’t have them giving up that second private jet, owning a country club or making due with a third yacht just so people could have jobs, health care, food, shelter…
And even ten seasons of Undercover Boss isn’t going to change most people’s minds.
I think the more likely response Reggie would receive is “If you think that’s a good idea, go ahead and take a 90% pay cut. Then see how much respect you get in future negotiations with other CEOs.”
Even if a few of them think it’s a good idea, none of them wants to do it unless all the rest do it.
